Specialist

Specialists are college students or recent college graduates who actually operate the camp activities. Like doctors, these people "specialize" in the running of certain activities. In some cases an activity is run by one Specialist, as in the case of Arts & Crafts. This Specialist might be assisted by a CIT, but for all purposes, he/she is "in charge" of the proper running of that area, his/her budget, inventory, and purchase of supplies. Some Specialists are members of a larger staff of Specialists, as in the case of the Pool Staff. A larger staff usually has one person in charge, with others assisting in the proper running of that area.

Those interested in applying should have a background in camping or in working directly with children. Interested and qualified parties must make a complete commitment to be in attendance the full seven-weeks of summer.

Applicants will be selected based on a personal interview with one of our Camp Administrators and by the references that they will supply us with on their written application.
