SCs are "in charge" of the various cabin/age groups. They are responsible for everything that goes on in the assigned cabin, every child in the group, and help train the CA/CIT to become a better counselor. All applicants must have completed at least one full year of college. Many SCs have grown up at PCDC and have moved up through the various phases of our staff groups. Some SCs are new hires. Those interested in applying should have a background in camping or in working directly with children. Interested and qualified parties must make a complete commitment to be in attendance the full seven-weeks of summer.
Applicants will be selected based on a personal interview with one of our Camp Administrators and by the references that they will supply us with on their written application.
