PCDC

Come and go by Camp Bus

Our fleet of Pine Crest buses are all owned and maintained by Pine Crest School and are inspected daily. All buses are air-conditioned, equipped with seat belts, and a radio-dispatch unit. Bus drivers are certified by the Florida Highway Patrol and must attend a complete Bus Driver Orientation sponsored by PCDC.

PCDC provides optional bus service throughout nearly every part of Broward County. Children who live within highly populated areas will be picked up and delivered “within sight of their home.” This service applies for probably 80% of our Broward County campers. Please note that Florida law does not permit our buses to enter small cul-de-sacs. Youngsters who live on streets such as these will be required to walk to the mouth of the cul-de-sac for service.

We do our very best to offer transportation to all who desire it, however, this is not always possible. Children who live in more remote areas, far western areas, or in areas with only a few PCDC campers enrolled, may find the bus stop less convenient than stated above. In these cases, we offer convenient and centrally located Express Stops.  Currently these are found in the south-east portion of Palm Beach County (Boca Raton) and in the north-east section of Dade County (North Miami Beach) as well as for our friends in Weston and Parkland.

Pine Crest Day Camp offers FREE bus service from our Pine Crest campus in Boca Raton directly to our Fort Lauderdale campus.
