PCDC

Welcome to the  family of friends here at Pine Crest Day Camp! For 54 fantastic summers, campers and counselors have joined together in a fun and supportive spirit, making summer memories and summer friends that last a lifetime!

We are committed to teaching new skills and activities to the children in our care.  We are devoted to helping campers learn, grow, make new friends and overcome challenges.  Our efforts are dedicated to enriching every child’s summer experience here at Pine Crest Day Camp. We strive for all campers to learn from and support one another, having each child contribute to his or her cabin in a positive and meaningful way.   Every staff member is faithful to this purpose, realizing that our goals become reality when we support one another and give 100% of our best efforts to our campers and to the staff members with whom we work.

Our Day Camp Program

Our regular Day Camp Program consists of a very wide array of indoor and outdoor day camp activities rotated for variety. ALL activities take place on our meticulously manicured 49-acre campus.  A nutritious hot lunch and two snacks are included every day. Swimming is scheduled daily.

Our Campers ages 4-12
Our youngest campers must be a full 4-years-old when they begin camp at PCDC, and must submit a copy of their birth certificate or passport when enrolling. Unfortunately, children who are “almost” four will have to wait another season before enrolling.

PCDC accepts campers up to and including twelve-years-old. Children may not be older than twelve at the time they begin camp.

NOTE:  Children who do not speak English must be a full

6-years-old before attending PCDC.  Our Play and Learn Program is the preferred program for these campers.

Children are assigned to groups or “cabins” according to the grade that they are entering school in September. Boys are placed in all-boy cabins and girls are placed in all-girl cabins. Our youngest age groups (Pre-K and K) will have approximately 10 to 15 children assigned per cabin with a staff of three or four members. Children who are entering grades 1-6 will have approximately 15-25 youngsters assigned per cabin and will be supervised by three staff members.

Our Play And Learn (PAL) Program

Our Play And Learn Program is an innovative program for our out-of-country, Spanish-speaking campers (ages 6-12)Play And Learn will provide a rigorous day of PCDC activities combined with quality learning.  Regular day camp activities will be supplemented with two hours of English instruction, presented in a lively and interactive setting. This exclusive 4-week program runs from JULY 9 – AUGUST 3. Tuition for the 4-week Play and Learn program is $2,600.00 (without bus service) or $3,180.00 (with bus service included).
